These types of web pages usually revolve around a personal nature.
A person may wish to express any number of ideas, pictures and information.
The content is not monitored and a person can write poetry, post pictures, blog about personal experiences, hobbies, the list is endless.
These types of web pages are usually for casual and recreation use. A person page may be its own entity; it may have its own domain name or it may belong to a large community such as MySpace or GeoCities.
A personal web page is not typically used as a method of financial gain, although they can be. If an individual’s web page is owned by that individual and usually if it is not part of a larger community it can be used for monetary purposes. One may, for example, implement Google ads, affiliate marketing, or sell products themselves.
A personal web page may be a simple template or it may be an extensive array of multiple databases.
However, hosting services of small personal web pages usually limit the amount of space one has to work with.
